HOT LAYERS

The classic combo of a brown jacket, white top, blue jeans and a thick leather belt will never go out of style. Within that theme, there's room for numerous variations. The woman above chose layers to be cozy, including a long scarf, but did not shy away from a little sexy appeal by picking a low-cut tee with a flash of midriff. She added a fitted thin cardigan, with blue and white stripes, to remain cute upon removal of the jacket, which, by the way, had some nice sweater touches around the sleeves and collar.

CLEAN GRAY

There's a lot to say for clean simplicity. Love this body-hugging gray sweater and its dramatic flowing white scarf. The remote control in her hands is about to "pause" you, so you can appreciate the idea calmly.

WHITE WITH BLACK V

As Sharon Stone has properly demonstrated on numerous occasions, a blonde in white and black will always look striking. Wear the white on top, in the form of a coat or jacket, and slip into a form-fitted V-neck black T-shirt or sweater for a subtle touch of hotness. Those ultra-tight dress pants, preferably in white also, will complete the working femme fatale vibe.

BOMBER SENSUAL

Brown, gray and black (not necessarily in that order) appears to be the winning color combination in the street this season. When matched, the colors can be applied to either the boots, top or jacket. Here, a fur collar brings a retro-bomber touch to the mix, while the ribbed dress-top brings clever attention to the chest. Tough, yet sensual.

WHITE WITH BLACK TURTLE

Here's another example from the Basic Instinct Sharon Stone school of boldness and simplicity. A black turtle neck and a white coat of any kind are the easiest way to make Donna Karan happy and to look sleek on any occasion. Switching the Tim Horton's brew for something that is actually drinkable would be advisable, though.

PLUNGING WHITE T

If you don't own one of these plunging V-Ts, you are either still living with your religiously conservative mother or sexy is just not your thing. Acquire one made with thin clingy fabric and get creative with variations on the biker jacket theme to jazz it up.

SHEER BLACK TOPS

Sheer black tops, which are just transparent enough to catch a glimpse of streamlined black bras and flesh, are definitely one of the sexiest fashion choices around. Subtle, yet randy like Hugh Jackman and Megan Fox stuck in an elevator. They come in the form of buttoned t-shirts and sweaters, with long and short sleeves, and are best worn tucked into low-cut jeans with all styles of bomber jackets.

AVIATOR STYLE

I believe Angelina Jolie wore something like this once in a Vanity Fair pictorial. Or maybe I just imagined the whole thing. The point is, she should have. Pardon my ignorance, but if those pants are not horseback riding gear, what are they? This combination is an aristocratic killer, with those leave-nothing-to-the-imagination pants, above-the-knee boots and massive flowing scarf. Add the fine details of a long sleeve sweater hanging off one shoulder and classic aviator shades and one may think she's heading to pick up Bond. All we are missing in this shot is a helicopter and a chase. Hot.

STRIPED T-SHIRT ON THE RUN

Some days, a fitted t-shirt with horizontal stripes to match the straps on your smashing bag, may be all you need to look cuter than a Labrador puppy with socks.

POP-ART T-SHIRT

It's refreshing to see good looking women add whimsical touches to their wardrobe. Otherwise, life would be just too serious. She chose a pop-art/comic book t-shirt, very low cut and tighter than a Scotsman's budget. The short white sweater provides warmth without killing the vibe and the glimpse of midriff keeps the whole think humming with humorous sex appeal. Look for subliminal messages in the print.

GOING DEEP

A new classic has made an entrance: the deep, deep v-neck t-shirt for women. It is unashamed. It is sexy. And it is a must. Paired with barely-there jean shorts and a suede or leather belt with matching flat boots, the result is simply... distracting. To tone down the impact, cover the recipe with a polite sweater and go about your business without a care in the world.

At first, I said: "Oh, what a lovely office outfit." Then, I realized how much of the back was actually exposed. Scandal. Curiously, the overall idea remained quite classy. I must guess the top is a bodysuit, similar to those worn by dancers during rehearsal. The skirt is tastefully chosen by going for white, a formal fabric and a waist high enough to insert a braided gold belt. The hi-heels, unseen here, were straight out of "Sex in the City." This is a great example of ample flesh revealed while confusing the puritans. Particularly recommended for those blessed with a spectacular back.

SLEEK TUBE, RUGGED JEANS

Few things make rugged old jeans look sexier than a tube top and a pair of starlet shades. Feel free to play around with all kinds of colors for various eye-catching effects. And, as illustrated above, do practice leaning on walls in a dramatic fashion to get the best out of your outfit.

CLEAN LINES GET ATTENTION

In a wild pack of jaywalking women, the one with the cleanest lines stands out like a black man at a KKK pool party. Shrink wrapped in a tight v-neck tee and a high waisted pencil skirt with a faux-belt, the woman in black and gray needs no jewelry to flash. Variations of this outfit can be found at many stores, for price points ranging from practically free to rampant retail robbery. No excuse to go without one.

CONTRASTING TEXTURES

Take a pair of tough, slightly ripped jeans and match them with a lose linen or cotton top, with a wide neckline. Keep the colors on top light (beige or off-white). Add superstar shades. Take to the street. Get your picture taken, cool duck.

VEST & MINI

Legs do a lot for this outfit, but it is definitely not reserved for runway gams. The form-fitted long sleeve top and the big vest offer a contrast of sleekness and volume, allowing to go extremely short with a classic denim mini-skirt and sock boots. Keeping the whole in black, blue and gold is simple and tasty.

GIVE PEACE-T A CHANCE

Neo-hippy touches can be sweet. Especially when they come in the form of a low-cut t-shirt with a big groovy peace sign, complimented by a peace necklace and a purple checker shirt. The secret lies in the thin fabric of the t-shirt and the worn-out colorful look of the graphics. By keeping the pants black and tight, the concept stayed casual, yet intriguingly sexy. To wear with politically engaged attitude.

LET IT FLOW

Ripped jeans, rain boots and a leather jacket can come across as pretty badass, which is not necessarily a wrong thing. But the wise choice of a clingy flowing white top, asymmetric and fairly low cut, brings womanly flair to the table. Note also the layer created by a thin black sweater between the top and the jacket.

WEAR SHOULDERS

Exposed shoulders are a perfect fashion accessory. They are free and they do tend to look fine on most women, even if the last visit to the gym preceded the Ice Age. So, go ahead and flaunt them at will, especially in this kind of top. The hardness of the muscle cut has been softened by a loser material and thin ribbed lines running down the front, adding volume and detail at just the right place. And, surprisingly, I did enjoy the steel gray color choice. It kept the vibe professional.

CAUTION: BLACK & RED AHEAD

Find a red top with gold motifs, slip on a leather jacket and sprinkle with some Harley Davidson-type jewelry and you're no longer an innocent girl. If saying to the world that you are one hot woman in charge is not your intention, then forget the above.
