URBAN EXPLORER

There was a time when cargo pants could be seen on every woman, except those actually working at loading docks. Like many trends, this one came and went, but not without leaving a trace. I was happy to see this outfit go by. It really evoked that whole urban explorer spirit. The pants had a rough attitude, while fitting in a most complimentary way. The jacket had that vintage retro matinee serial vibe and the studded leather belt was exactly what was needed to accentuate the waist. Note that without that accent the outfit would've lost some of its fun curviness.

WHITE WITH BLACK V

As Sharon Stone has properly demonstrated on numerous occasions, a blonde in white and black will always look striking. Wear the white on top, in the form of a coat or jacket, and slip into a form-fitted V-neck black T-shirt or sweater for a subtle touch of hotness. Those ultra-tight dress pants, preferably in white also, will complete the working femme fatale vibe.

DENIM AND WORKOUT PANTS

Here's an idea as old as yoga. Complete your intense workout, then get on with your day without a full change of clothes by upgrading your super tight, curve-hugging workout outfit into fashionable street wear with a short jean jacket and a scarf. Slinky, casual and bodacious.

AVIATOR STYLE

I believe Angelina Jolie wore something like this once in a Vanity Fair pictorial. Or maybe I just imagined the whole thing. The point is, she should have. Pardon my ignorance, but if those pants are not horseback riding gear, what are they? This combination is an aristocratic killer, with those leave-nothing-to-the-imagination pants, above-the-knee boots and massive flowing scarf. Add the fine details of a long sleeve sweater hanging off one shoulder and classic aviator shades and one may think she's heading to pick up Bond. All we are missing in this shot is a helicopter and a chase. Hot.

EVERYDAY TIGHT LEATHER

Tight leather pants can be the ultimate 80s hair band fashion calamity or a classy and very sexy choice. The devil is in a couple of details. The boots must be toe-licking good. Any range of heels, from flats to vertigo-inducing stilettos will fly, for as long as the footwear is knee-hi. In the example above, she chose a sensual light flowing top. The idea is to keep it tough below and as feminine as possible above, to showcase femme fatale duality. And with black & white, the contrast couldn't be any bolder.

BRIGHTEN UP YOUR WORKOUT

While the sporty woman above could've chosen to stick to blue and white, or other plain choices, she took notes from the best track & field athletes and brought color and style to her wear. The yellow and orange lines already seem to add speed to her legs. If you look closely to the bottom of the pic, you will notice the tights stop at mid-calf, properly exposing the results of long hours at the gym. Or maybe she was just born that way and the outfit is just for show.

FINESSING THE TANK

A sporty white tank top is a mandatory piece of clothing. Even a fire hydrant looks great in it. But turning such a plain top into something special requires a little flair below the waist. These draw string linen pants, bound to compliment any shape, are just dandy. The choice of powder blue, an extremely flattering yet under-used color, scores extra points.
